Daniel B. Caron BIO
I enlisted in the Navy in 1967. I trained in Coronado and at Camp Pendleton prior to my tours in Vietnam as a GMG (Gunners mate) in I Corp.
After my Navy service, I enlisted in the Army. I was a Demo Tech. SGT-E5.
I am a Life member of the VFW, DAV, VVA & American Legion. I held 1stVice President of the Vietnam Veterans of America State of Michigan Council for 2 years, and Adjutant/QM, in the American Legion.
I joined the VFW in 1970 and held seats in posts as an Adjutant, Chaplain, then to CMDR. for a total of 16 years.
In the district I held seats as Judge Advocate, Trustee and Jr., Sr., and CMDR for 3 terms.
In my private life I was in Law enforcement and a PI for a Law firm retiring from Houghton County, Michigan.
I am presently an Ordained Minister and a Worship Pastor. Married to the Love of my life Cindy and a combined family of 7 children,14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Helping Veterans has been in my heart and will remain there until I leave this earth.
